Associated Wire Rope & Rigging was officially incorporated in 1994. It began its journey as a specialized broker for products within the rigging and lifting industry, laying the foundation for its future as a technical authority in the field.
Strategic Logistics Partnership
The company formed a pivotal partnership with Waterman Supply Company in Wilmington, CA. This collaboration successfully combined Associated Wire Rope’s sales and marketing expertise with Waterman’s deep logistics capabilities, allowing for more complex distribution agreements.
Expansion into Premium Dutch Partnerships
The company secured exclusive North American stocking distributor status for Ropeblock and GN Rope Fittings. These partnerships allowed them to supply world-class crane products as well as Polar Rated mooring and heavy lifting products (up to 3,000-ton capacity) to major global crane manufacturers and Industrial Rigging Shops.
Sea-Link Product Launch
Associated Wire Rope & Rigging introduced its proprietary “Sea-Link” product line to the US market. Manufactured in Peru, these products expanded the company’s reach into the fishing, marine, mining, and general construction sectors.
Development of Tailored B2B Logistics Programs
Ongoing / Modern Era Transitioning from a traditional broker to a full-service partner, the company developed sophisticated B2B programs.
